Pass Routes:
X | 12-yard deep in |
H | 3-yard slant |
RB | Swing route to the left |
Y | Flat route towards the right |
Z | 15-yard curl |
QB Pass Reads:
The quarterback looks to throw to the H receiver, who runs the 3 yard slant. If he is not open, the quarterback then looks for the X receiver, who runs a 12-yard in route. On the right side of the field, there is a curl/flat combination run between the Y receiver and the X receiver. The runningback is the quarterback’s outlet receiver.
