The 46 Odd – 46 Mid Blitz is a Cover 0 defense. There are five defenders in pass coverage, while 6 defenders rush the quarterback.
To set the defense up to bring inside pressure, all that needs to be done is to re-hot route the weak side and strong side defensive tackles to blitz.
This will allows the strong safety to shoot through B gap pressure between the left tackle and left guard.
Once the ball is snapped, the strong safety shoots through the B gap.
If the quarterback doesn’t get to the quarterback quick enough, the strong safety will get a sack.

Final Thoughts
Another pre-snap adjustment that may need to made is to bring the free safety down closer to the slot receiver if one is in the line up. This will lessen the chances of a quick pass to the slot receiver.
