YoDaddy has sent in a good amount of blitz concepts , so this week I wanted to share two of them with you. The first one is the 4-3 Stack – Snake 3 Stay. What we like about this Madden 12 set up is it’s simple to set up and brings B gap pressure from the strong safety with only a four man pass rush.

4-3 Stack – SS Snake 3 Stay drops RCB, FS, and LCB in 3 deep coverage. The 3 linebackers play underneath zone coverage. There are 6 defenders rushing the quarterback, including the strong safety.
The offensive play called is I-Form Pro – Curls. The fullback has been hot routed to stay into pass block to the left.
To set this defense up, show fake blitz or manually stack the strong safety behind the left end.
Next, take control of the strong side defensive tackle and hot route him to blitz.
The last pre-snap adjustment that needs to be made is to hot route the right end into QB Spy.
Notice there are now four pass rushers instead of five.
The reason we hot route the right end into QB Spy is to make sure the left tackle and fullback keep their focus towards left side.
Once the ball is snapped, we stay in control of the right end by holding the right trigger (R2). The strong safety shoots through the B gap between right guard and right tackle.
Once we see strong safety gets past the line of scrimmage, we then drop the right end back into pass coverage. In the image above, strong safety sacks the quarterback for a loss.

Final Thoughts
If you don’t want to hot route the right end into QB Spy, he can be hot routed into QB Contain. The blitz will still work, but you won’t have the extra defender in pass coverage.
